Dec 11th- A few of my favorite things...

~A day spent braving life's risks, and...
~Realizing it's the twists and turns that make life interesting, and..
~In the end, it doesn't matter what you've been dealt, it's just a deck if cards...
Come to think of it, Alice in Wonderland learned that too!

The Habit of Thankfulness: A Few of My Favorite Things

Jan 14th- A few of my favorite things...
~Showing the girls how "cool" freezing temps and boiling water can be
~Watching their excitement over trying out their homemade thermometer
~Reading "Alice In Wonderland" to them at bedtime, explaining the absurdness that Alice encountered, with interjections like, "Wait! What? How can she chop off the Cheshire's cat's head when he has no body...that's not very nice...or possible!"....love the classics smile emoticon

The Habit of Thankfulness: A Few of My Favorite Things...

Dec 25th- A few of my favorite things...
~Christmas Breakfast before presents, a relaxed start to the day
~Playing with the girlies with their gifts
~Listening to Lissie "read" Alice in Wonderland to Sully our cat, that story always did sound a bit strange, but her version was quite interesting...especially the part where Alice got in her car and went with her cat places...
