~A littlest sister sneaking down to practice "Happy Birthday" for her big sister, as it will be the usual ukulele player's birthday on the morrow

~A little girl who rushes in and asks for a microscope and a field guide...
~Who diligently studies the leaves she has found, amazed at her finds, then...
~Comparing them to a field guide, runs back outside to tell one of big sister's friends that the tree was a      buckthorn and she could prove it! A girl after her mother's own heart
