Winslow's Musings: The Rambling Thoughts of a Furby

There are some sculptures that even Winslow doesn't understand.

But then Winslow noticed the man's predicament....

Winslow falls apart of he has touched spider webs unexpectedly too!

Yuck!

And now you know ;-)

Winslow's Advent Musings: Occupy Advent- Day 10

Winslow loves how even a small string of lights...

...can transform a humble dwelling into a beautiful place.

Come to think of it...
...when He came,

...Jesus did that, too!

Winslow's Advent Musings: Occupy Advent- Day 9

Winslow loves to bake cookies at Christmastime
(well anytime actually).
But the cookies at Christmas
are extra special.
They are handmade with
love,
sprinkled with colors
as
festive at the light on the tree...

A time where families can remember
how great it feels to do things together...
....like baking...
....and eating!
Take time today to do something as a family...
and make new Christmas memories!

Winslow thinks this is the perfect place to be...
He will guard the cookies....

Winslow's Advent Musings: Occupy Advent- Day 8

While Winslow does not usually occupy the tree for Advent,
Winslow loves looking at the tree ornaments, reminders of Christmas past. The bell ornaments were made by Chris' Great-Grandma Borst and by his mother Nancy Peters. The icicle ornaments were made by Moriah when she was little. Winslow thinks they are smile-reminders on ornament hooks!

Winslow's Advent Musings: Occupy Advent- Day 7

Winslow thinks that Charles Schulz
got it right nearly
when he wrote
A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Schultz thought that true meaning of Christmas
was getting lost in the
busyness ....
and business
of Christmas.
He used Linus to set the record straight....

Charlie Brown: Isn't there anyone, who knows what Christmas is all about?!

Linus: Sure Charlie Brown, I can tell you what Christmas is all about. Lights please?

And there were in the same country shepherds, abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them! And they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, “Fear not! For, behold, I bring you tidings o great joy, which shall be to all my people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ, the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you: Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.” And suddenly, there was with the angel a multitude of the Heavenly Host praising God, and saying, “Glory to God in the Highest, and on Earth peace, and good will toward men.

That’s what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.

Winslow's Advent Musings: Occupy Advent- Day 3

Winslow loves the countdown
to Christmas because
the best gift
is at the
end:

Jesus!

Winslow's Advent Musings: Occupy Advent- Day 2

Winslow thinks
that a
stocking with your
own initial on it
is a tangible reminder
that God of the universe
knows your name
and has a gift
just for you....
....his Son!

Winslow's Advent Musings: Occupy Advent- Day 1

Winslow thinks
it is good to
take time
to be more mindful
of the season...
...Jesus...

don't rush and miss the wonder!
