~Visiting a private garden graciously opened up once a year

~Gardens filled with textures and colors that are a feast for the eyes and the soul

~Spending the day with family on Mother's Day 

May 8th- A few of my favorite things...

~A Mother's Day trip to Sycamore Hill Gardens to get lost among gorgeous plants artfully arranged

~To spy the pleasant surprises of statuary artfully placed in abundance throughout each garden

~The fun of S'mores Cookies after all that walking...and an iced coffee and mini-cupcake just for moms 

May 9th- A few of my favorite things...

~A Mother's Day hike at Guppy Falls

~Trillium coating the hillside down to the water

~A waterfall worth the short hike...and woodland worth the short hike
