July 13th- A few of my favorite things...
~The soft, fuzzy berries the color of sherbet as the staghorn sumac ripens
~Eyes that spy a piece of the old canal wall poking through the ground
~Little noses that smell mint, then locate it growing wild in the grass

~Watching bees hard at work on goldenrod
~Little fuzzy hairs coated with pollen
~Watching the bees carefully extract nectar from as many flowers as possible with each landing

~Weeping beech leaves so new that they still have fuzzy hair
