~Trying to smile even when the sun makes it hard
~Sunlight turning the tops of the trees into gold
~Golden streaks of highlighted clouds streaking across the sky

  

The girls dropped off the last of their lemonade stand money to

"In My Father's Kitchen"

...and made some artwork for them!

The Golden Hour

Cast gold everywhere...

Streaking across the sky...

Radiating from the west..

Filling the sky...

with golden splendor...

and oranges and blues that words...

barely capture.

~Stopping by a place that gives hope to those who have been forgotten...In My Father's Kitchen on Hawley Ave
~Seeing a place where the weary in body and spirit can find a friend to talk to know they are not invisible
~Being able to be a small part of giving that hope through the simple act of having a lemonade stand

July 19th- A few of my favorite things...
~An afternoon watching movie at the library that is better than the book (that doesn't happen very often)
~A special invitation to do a second lemonade stand for IMFK at the Carol Bryant Trio concert tonight in Jordan
~Lissie getting to help the musicians keep the beat with shaker eggs for the second half of the concert...she's got rhythm!
