Apr 28th- A few of my favorite things... ~The fun of watching frogs hop into the little stream as you walk by ~Watching another family out with their youngin's on a quiet morning ~Finishing what we started...all 14 miles of trail (28 round trip)...starting in Cato and ending at Lake Ontario at Little Sodus Bay in Fair Haven
Sept 24th- A few of my favorite things... ~Canada geese stopping by for a snack in the harvested field ~An Oldwife Underwing Moth hiding in plain sight ~The golden light of sunset coloring the tops of the still-green trees into a taste of what is to come
Apr 28th- A few of my favorite things... ~A small stone that seems to have called his pebble friends for a meeting ~Being warned by a pair of geese gleaning in the fields at sunset ~Stopping by to watch the sun peek around the bend of the old canal
Mar 1st- A few of my favorite things... ~Displays with a sign that reminds us that spring is on its way (just a longer detour, as it always is, around here :-) ) ~A migrating flock of Canada Geese stopping at a temporal pond to rest before continuing their northward trek...a sign of spring ~A sign that, better than Christmas, the daily library truck has arrived...and there just might be goodies for you!

Oct 3rd- A few of my favorite things... ~Watching a squirrel shell a black walnut for the treat inside ~Clouds that seem to split the sky ~A flock of geese flying into the sunset
Mar 5th- A few of my favorite things... ~The ever changing clouds, thin...yet dwarfing a plane ~A collage of clouds over a field awaiting the plows returns ~Geese flying over looking for a night's rest and meal
