~Awakening to find one white crocus blooming in the front garden

~A trio of crocuses as yellow as the sunshine

~A cluster of purple crocuses that has staked Spring's claim on the land

~Sunlight glimmering on white pine needles

~Snowdrops beginning to pop up in the garden

~Birds flitting about enjoying the sunshine and warmth as much as we all are

~Sunshine filtering through sunflower petals like stained glass

~Yellow gladiola blossoms shining like a floral torch

~A goldenrod crab spider who volunteered to be the welcoming committee

~Peonies seeming to be waking up under the sunshine

~Arriving to the tracks in time to see two trains traveling west on the tracks

~Dandelions forming a carpet of sunshine on a cloudy day

~Each flower peeking out above another as if vying to get a better view of Spring unfolding

~Dandelions standing sentinel at their posts along the canal wall, securing Spring's hold on the land
