May 3rd- A few of my favorite things...

~Clearing the leaves to find a bower of blooms

~Snow drop beauty in single blossom and double blossom form

~Stripey clouds bursting forth from the horizon,...

~A sliver of a rainbow above the sun and a fountain of rainbow on the left (part of the sun halo phenomenon), and...

~The star of the show peeking out from the clouds just before taking a final bow for the night

~Snowdrops peeking out of the garden reminding us that winter's grip is waning

~Barren branches reaching skyward toward the sunlight

~Bright blue skies along the towpath in contrast to the sleepy landscape below

Jan 11th- A few of my favorite things...

~Blues skies peeking out after a quick snowfall

~Snow that remains highlighting the wall, yet sparkling as it melts on the grass

~Sunshine and blue skies to lift the spirits on a cold January day
