~Two young artists spending the morning at the library learning to paint a dragon

~Watching the artistic choices of each painter

~Having two paintings of dragons to hang on the wall that are as wonderfully different as night and day

Aug 30th- A few of my favorite things...

~Leaves collecting raindrops for display

~Hosta flower clusters drenched by the afternoon's torrents

~Flowers with glistening jewels that disappear like Brigadoon into the night

July 26th- A few of my favorite things...

~A cool griffin sporting a flag

~Fancy headlights that brighten any day...or night

~The treat of seeing a cool Bugatti roadster of yesteryear while going about the day

June 30th- A few of my favorite things...

~The bees finishing up their day's work 

~The katydid nymphs beginning to appear at dusk

~Fireflies beginning their evening night show

Mar 10th- A few of my favorite things...

~Stripey clouds bursting forth from the horizon,...

~A sliver of a rainbow above the sun and a fountain of rainbow on the left (part of the sun halo phenomenon), and...

~The star of the show peeking out from the clouds just before taking a final bow for the night

Mar 9th- A few of my favorite things...

~Sunset colors coloring the steeple

~Sunset colors coloring the sky and clouds

~Sunset colors seeming to reach back up as if to say a final farewell for the night

Jan 19th- A few of my favorite things...

~A good day to go to the sledding hill to ride down and learn how to snowboard

~A good afternoon to cross country ski on the towpath 

~A good night to learn how to snowshoe in the old canal prism

~The Third Day of Christmas: Blanket Fort Day

~The fun of spending the day with your sisters in a blanket fort

~The fun of camping out in it for the night

~A yellow garden spider wrapping up its meal for the night

~A small crab spider hiding, waiting for its next meal

~A cross orb weaver who figured out a clever placing of its web for to attract dinner

~A chrysalis hiding on a tree

~A moth blending into a flower

~A mourning dove trying to be top bird for the night

~Footprints left in a dusting of snow

~Streetlights that give a splendid film-noir look to the night

~Walking to where the pavement ends

~The skies before the the sun peeks over the trees

~The skies as the clouds begin to roll in though the day

~The skies as the last of the day's color gets painted in stripes as the light fades into night
