April 21st- A few of my favorite things...

~The beauty of the village garden in early spring 

~The stunning contrast of clouds before a storm

~The colors in the sky as the rain breaks just before sunset

Apr 2nd- A few of my favorite things...

~Coming out to watch the moon rise and realizing I am not the first one

~The late evening light on the trees

~Finding that a flock of starlings beat me to the sunset spot to watch the show on the western horizon

Mar 30th- A few of my favorite things...

~A cup of tea after resetting my office after it was repainted

~Soaking in the sunset from my second floor view while getting some work done

~The feeling when a room is set and ready to begin 

Mar 24th- A few of my favorite things...

~A sunbow and sundogs just before sunset

~Watching the trees trying to catch the setting sun

~Watching it slip below the horizon just a little bit north of due west...the true marker of Spring

Sept 29th- A few of my favorite things...

~Mr Merlin perched as if he were overseeing fall's overture at sunset

~Turning around to see the beginning of color descending from the the tips of the trees

~Turning back around to find that even Mr Merlin moved to get a better view

July 28th- A few of my favorite things...

~Watching the clouds break up overhead

~Seeing the sun peek out from under passing cloudline  

~Streaks of peachy pink stretching across the sky at sunset

Apr 4th- A few of my favorite things...

~Birds vying for a spot for the sunset

~Golden colors highlighting textures in the evening clouds

~Orange and blue in a sky fading into darkness

Mar 9th- A few of my favorite things...

~Sunset colors coloring the steeple

~Sunset colors coloring the sky and clouds

~Sunset colors seeming to reach back up as if to say a final farewell for the night

Feb 8th- A few of my favorite things...

~Out on the trail near sunset without a snowmobile in sight

~Color peeking out from around the clouds that have dropped more white on the landscape

~Softening colors to guide me back as evening begins to overtake day

~The sun setting a little further north on the western horizon each day

~The colors that blend to the edge of the sky

~Finding a fellow sunset sojourner out enjoying the lengthening of days at sunset
