~A bald-faced hornet's nest that has been hiding in the treetops all summer

~Squirrels readying their nest for the coming winter

~Tiny pollinators enjoying dandelions amid fall's bounty

~Driving through a the last of the trees with color standing sentinel 

~Solo silo watching the color fade along the distant edge of its empty field 

~Gold falling from the heights of the treetops gilding the ground below

~Sunshine on the treetops soaking in the rays

~Sunshine sparkling on the creek rushing by

~Sunshine on all points in between

~Color in the treetops 

~Color on the ground

~A fence that decided to display them somewhere in between

~Woodland flowers carpeting the forest floor enjoying the sunshine before the leaves create too much shade

~The reward of a glistening blue Oswego River near the end of the walk, enjoyed by those on four feet and those on two
