~Hiking the Three Meadows trail at Beaver Lake with the girlies this morning
~Watching a chipmunk who is really good at hiding, at least from the chippy who was playing chase with him
~Watching Darth Vader conduct the Imperial March at Symphoria in Syracuse tonight

Jan 14th- A few of my favorite things...
~The fun of going to different libraries to hear musicians talk about the part of the orchestra their instrument is in- thanks Symphoria!
~The fun the girlies are having getting their passports stamped
~Watching a little boy stunned, listening to the Star Wars opening theme played on trombone...that Star Wars fan might turn to the Brass side of the force!

The Habit of Thankfulness: A Few of My Favorite Things

Dec 31st- A few of my favorite things...
~Finding old notes from Moriah when she was little while cleaning
~Watching Star Wars with Moriah who is seeing it for the first time to bring in the New Year
~That there is a God in control even when things look bleak---the key to walking in the "valley of the shadow" is that shadows can't really hurt you...they're just proof that the sun is out.
