~A yard of vinyl leather that, like "Joseph Had A Little Overcoat", was first enough to make new pockets

~Second, enough to cover a well loved ottoman, and

~Third, just enought left over to make sheaths for shears with just a small bag of scraps leftover

~Dandelions blooming throughout the yard

~Little hands that picked a bowl full before the rain

~Bigger hands that helped me get them ready to make dandelion jelly

~Discovering the first golden dandelion in the yard,
~The goldeny star centers of yellow primroses, and

~Stopping to take in how beautiful our village is at dawn's early light
~Stopping to watch a guy have fun running his RC car up and down and around the snowbanks
~Stopping to enjoy the beauty of snow and ice that has painted the yard in sparkles

~The scent of lilacs beginning to fill the yard

~Like a little kid, trying out our new toy in the yard after dark
~Finding a laundry pole base that we didn't know was there
~And picking up a little piece of metal, taking it inside and realizing you found a suspenders' clip... of all places---by the laundry pole!...Love how history pieces itself together
