May 18th- A few of my favorite things...

~The scent of sweet rocket at the edges of the fields 

~The hidden speckles of color in a cluster of horse chestnut flowers

~The surprise of the first rose in May

May 17th- A few of my favorite things...

~A bold red tulip that begs for attention

~A delicate pink dogwood blossom content to blend in with friends

~A shy group of Solomon Seal blossoms that hang out discretely under the leaves

May 16th- A few of my favorite things...

~Dogwood blooms abundant on its branches

~Dandelions like snow on the sledding hill

~Spirea bouquets filling the bushes with diminutive bouquets befitting fairy folk

May 15th- A few of my favorite things...

~The juxtaposition of a hardy tractor and a delicate nest

~A tractor that seems content to just reflect on spring

~And relax while the world carries on around him

May 14th- A few of my favorite things...

~Birds on the sitting on the ground 

~Birds in soaring in the sky

~Birds found somewhere in between

May 13th- A few of my favorite things...

~Lilacs that come in shades of creamy white...

~Fading into shades of pink...

~And flowing into shades of purple

May 12th- A few of my favorite things...

~A trip down the towpath as the land turns a verdant green

~Making it down to the tracks in time hear the clang of the crossing gates coming down...and waving to the engineer

~A sun setting further north of west along the Spring horizon
