~Discovering a small wasp hive that hid under a leaf

~Discovering a sun halo gracing the sky

~Discovering the moon through a steeple

Nov 28th- A few of my favorite things...

~Searching for the perfect Christmas tree with choices of all sizes

~Finding the perfect Christmas tree and bringing it home

~Setting up the lights with a visitor to surprise the girlies in the morning

Nov 27th- A few of my favorite things...

~Two horse power being passed by significantly more horsepower on the old stage route,

~A small train seemingly drawn to the old yard on invisible tracks, and

~A Christmas Tree to reflect them all

Nov 26th- A few of my favorite things...

~The fun of watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

~The joy of finding a snow globe while camping to watch the parade anytime

~Relaxing after dinner to watch a parade filmed long ago...Happy Thanksgiving!

~Something for breakfast on the morrow

~Something to go with dinner on the morrow 

~Something for dessert on the morrow...baking done for Thanksgiving

~Elves at work getting the Christmas tree and Nativity ready in Clinton Square

~Elves at work getting the tree up and some extra trees lit for added cheer in the village

~Elves at work putting up a tree or two to bring their gentle glow...and maybe a smile to those passing by

Nov 23rd- A few of my favorite things...

~A dramatic sunset after a blustery rainy day

~Discovering the canal wall has come out to watch the sunset with you

~The beauty in clouds painted with color and those just rippled with texture

Nov 22nd- A few of my favorite things...

~Shopkeepers who still take time to decorate their windows

~The wonder and joy simple displays bring

~Knowing children still stop for Christmas lights

Nov 21st- A few of my favorite things...

~Learning the life lesson that if life gives you lemons, you can make lemonade...or...

~Drawing from you abundance, learning you can also choose to make lemon meringue pie

~Enjoying the slice of life you are given

~Decorations as pretty in the daylight as they are in the dark
