~The excitement of opening a package just for you

~Smaller packages to open within

~The fun of having your own "Dolly Levi" cards to hand out

~A colorful ash leaf on the ground

~A white moon at waning half in the noon sky

~Colorful leaves on the fence about falling to the ground

Sept 27th- A few of my favorite things...

~The gift of concord grapes from a friend

~The gift of tomato plants that keep on producing a harvest

~The gift of taste...and a new pancake mix to try...and BTW they were delicious, but then New Hope Mills always is

~Watching things that flutter high,....

~Things that soar higher, and...

~Things that fly highest

~The surprise of a large envelope from a friend

~Peeking inside to see what she sent

~The fun of seeing your name in print for the group you help admin, Nostalgic Syracuse, with four other great comrades

Sept 24th- A few of my favorite things...

~The crinkly rustling of leaves

~Knowing you are never too old to look for horse chestnuts in the dark when the squirrels are sleeping

~A fun centerpiece to decorate the table

Sept 23rd- A few of my favorite things...

~Finding a cast iron enameled ebleskiver pan for under $5

~Teaching the girlies to use this unique shaped pan

~A tasty treat with a variety of toppings to make them even better

Sept 22nd- A few of my favorite things...

~Locust leaves that rest slightly arched on the sidewalk so as not to get wet

~Horse chestnut leaves that prefer a backdrop of different materials 

~A Norway Maple leaf that looks like it is trying to figure out how to fly back to the tree

Sept 21st- A few of my favorite things...

~Watching the purple cone flowers fade from purple to almost pink as they age

~Watching the recently pruned rose bushes bloom once again

~Watching a crab spider reach over and catch a snack while taking his portrait (the black spot by his mouth)

Sept 20th- A few of my favorite things...

~Watching the sun gild the sky with a few flighty friends

~Watching the sun gild a plane as it flies toward the airport

~Clouds that seem to scroll across the sky by an Unseen Hand

~A fairy, who after turning mushrooms into goblets and...

~Splashing color onto a green landscape,...
