Winslow stated the day off by suggesting
we try hiking to Sprague Pond to go fishing.
The hike was easy and flat, which is good if you are a furby,
the views of the pond were beautiful!
Winslow loved climbing out on the rocks.
He spotted two eastern newts in the pond
He liked it when people caught fish just his size!
After lunch we went to the beach.
Winslow tried his hand a Titanic pose on the lifeguard's rowboat.
After supper the girlies made tepees in the yard.
Winslow felt like Goldilocks...
The first was too big for one little furby...
The second was too airy...
The third was just right!
Then after a campfire, the girls did some light painting...
...even Winslow thought it was pretty neat!
But the best part of the day,Winslow thought, was watching the stars
and listening to the quiet
only broken by the sounds of loons on distant lakes.
