Winslow's First Camping Adventure: Day 6

Winslow thinks one of the Best things about Indian Lake is the town beach Abanakee.
He started his fun on the beach with a quick game of Candy Land on his beach towel.
Then he remembered...

he brought one just his size to catch some some rays on the beach.
He began to think about his trip through Candy Land and that inspired him......
...to build a new Winslow Castle. After a few landscaping touches and a
"W" for his family crest, his new castle was ready!
Here is an aerial view of his new castle, complete with obligatory moat.
THen he realized he needed  a boat in case he got stranded.
Then he thought he'd take his little yacht for a sail....
He didn't get very far...Winslow decided he needs a
bigger boat next time. After supper, Winslow headed off to North Creek to play on the playground at the Ski Bowl Park.
Winslow liked to pretend he was "The Great Stone Dragon"
from up on the climbing wall.
Then He imagined it was winter and was heading down the slopes at Gore Mountain.

Then he saw the stationary ski lift nearby and decided to try it on for size.
Now his only problem was ...

...where to find furby-size skis...
Then he checked out the community garden...
The community garden has many kinds of flowers in bloom...
...and lots of paths to explore. Winslow liked the swing in the garden.
But Winslow thinks that swings are much better when shared with friends!
There was even a furby-sized pond for him to enjoy :-)
He also thought it was very considerate of this Adirondack chair's maker
 to include a furby seat!
To finish off the day, Winslow and the girlies enjoyed skipping rocks
across the Hudson River in North River.
Winslow knows he'll never tire of the views here in the mountains!
