Winslow's Second Camping Adventure: Day 4

Winslow was ready for a great day at the beach.
The town beach on Abanakee is the best place for adventure

Once he arrived, Winslow, who usually likes to stop and smell the flowers,
Really like the smell of the wild oregano that grows around here...

Then it was off to the beach area.

Winslow first went on a hike with Gwyn
(since she can't go into the water with her cast).

He found a Charlie Brown tree just his size for next Christmas!

Further down the trail,

he found evidence of of others
who had walked this trail earlier in the day.
Then, he cam back to 3 sand castles just his size.

Castle 1's amenities include a moat and a high castle keep to keep out invaders

Castle 2's amenities included a castle keep
and a lovely rock garden by the moat.

Gwyn helped put on the final touches of the 3rd castle with Thea

This one had a dry moat (no need to worry about wet castle basements
and a walled castle keep with lovely rock adornments.

But the view was great no matter which castle he was at!

He was also thrilled to see the toad that the girlies caught
that was actually smaller than him!

Then later it was on to Lake Adirondack to watch the sun set.
Even a dragonfly was enjoying his time in the last remnants of the sun.

Winslow also saw a spiderweb between thee trees that he was sure
was big enough to get him.
So he wisely stayed clear....

and found the perfect spot to catch the last of the days rays!
