Winslow's Second Camping Adventure: Day 6

Since Gwyn can't go into the water and neither can Winslow,
they both decided to head for the parking lot...
...not to leave but to dig in the parking lot for
archaeology.
Yesterday they unearthed a few fragments of bone.
Gwyn wanted to go back and find more....

...and she did....lots of deer bone fragment.
Not quite a wooly mammoth, but very cool indeed!

Then together they found  a leaf miner
at work on his next leaf design.

But the best part was finding a huge cache of blueberries!
Olaf is having fun with Winslow doing what frozen things
do in summer!

Winslow kept Olaf company in guarding the berries...
...blueberry pancakes need special protection

Olaf got to observe the different kinds of moss around him...

...tiny little intricate worlds...

perfect of relaxing on and watching the sky!

The sky is always fun to watch!

Then it was back to the beach to see the new castle
Thea and Moriah

built just for him!

Then he got to watch Shaniah perfect the back float!

He even got to try a flip-flop speedboat courtesy of Thea.

Then after lunch it was back at Abanakee for some fishing...

Winslow doesn't know what's better...

....catching a fish...

(That is pretty cool!)

Or sitting back...

and watching the fun the girlies are having at angling!

One is safe from having to take a fish off the hook with
just watching.

The Lake Abanakee is so beautiful with loons calling to one another...

...a cauldron of turkey vultures circling in the sky...

....and military helicopters flying over.

But what he does know is that there is no better way to end the day than with
chocolate chip brownies!
